Turnabot High Temp, Hardened Shaft (HTHS) 30:1 Gearboxes

The Turnabot High Temp, Hardened Shaft (HTHS) Gearboxes are 30:1 gearboxes proven through extensive use in our HTHS 1400 RPM N20 motors. Designed for durability and reliability, these gearboxes are built to withstand the heat, load, and abuse typical of competitive robotics.

When installed on Turnabot motors, these gearboxes produce the following approximate speeds on 2S LiPo power:

  • N10: ~1200 RPM

  • N20: ~1400 RPM

  • N30: ~1000 RPM

What’s Included

Each replacement gearbox ships complete with:

  • 30:1 HTHS gearbox

  • 2 mounting screws

  • Pinion gear

These components allow for straightforward replacement when used with compatible motors.


Installation Notes (Important)

These gearboxes are designed to install directly on Turnabot HTHS 1400 RPM N20 motors.

Installing these gearboxes on any motor other than the Turnabot HTHS 1400 RPM N20 requires removing the motor’s original pinion gear and installing the included pinion gear.

For best results:

  • The recommended method for removing pinion gears is a micro gear puller

  • The recommended method for installing pinion gears is a press or a vise with proper fixturing

Using the correct tools significantly reduces the risk of damaging the motor shaft or gearbox.
