Can these “home and classroom safe” Turnabots really compete with the destructive active spinning weapon bots?
Yes! Yes they can!
2 seasons ago Turnabots were nationally ranked at 1st, 4th, 6th, and several others in the top 30 in 150g FULL COMBAT.
Last season 13 of the 33 bots at the ranking-based, invite-only, National Championship were Turnabots. After the first day of competition 6 of the final 12 were Turnabots. Then 3 of the final 6 and ultimately 2 of the top 3.
That’s Charlie, at 12 years old, running Slipper (now OverThrow) taking 2nd and Scott running Squeezy taking 3rd.
